It can go so wrong. One minute you're telling your Nan to type “Hotmail” into Google so she can get an email account and hook up with her fellow silver surfers, the next she's shrieking at the sight of unsavoury images being beamed into her living room. Not again, you think, how many more times? (more...)

I want to expand, fill voids and pockets of my existence with aged wine, exotic cuisines and soulful music. I want to travel the world, three times over. Once, simply to enjoy my freedom and get lost out of one's own accord. Second, to appreciate the cities I fleetingly meet and third, to appreciate the person I am to appreciate these cities with. Guest article by David Lester
Sao Paulo is an incredible city: it contains a population bigger than that of Australia (29M), a helicopter fleet three times that of New York's (for those who can afford to avoid the traffic jams), and the largest number of Japanese people outside of Japan. (more...)

One of the most criminally underrated films of all time, surely. Okay, so Star Wars
has always done better commercially than it has critically; but even commercially,
Episode III has been out-earned by the likes of the Harry Potter movies, Lord of the
Rings and Avatar! (more...)

With that title alone I’ve already lost ninety percent of Gen Y readers I’m sure. If you’re still here then let me outline why this forgotten behaviour is so worthy of your precious minutes. Whether it is a TV, computer or even a kitchen appliance, there are plenty of good reasons to keep those few pieces of paper. (more...)
